Kiwanis
Kiwanis is a global community of clubs, members, and partners who are dedicated to improving the lives of children one community at a time around the world. Today, Kiwanis stands with more than 550,000 members, in between 80 countries and geographic areas. Like every child, every community has different needs. The organization empowers members to pursue creative ways to serve the needs of children, such as combating hunger, improving education, and offering guidance. With its financial support, the Kiwanis Foundation supports children directly and contributes to the realization of projects for the benefit of children.
Last year I was invited to present my experiences in areas affected by conflict to the members of one of the 200 Kiwani clubs in the Surselva region of Graubünden.
