In a nutshell,

I'm a social entrepreneur, independent documentary filmmaker- and photographer, born and raised in Switzerland.

Originally coming from Interaction Design. which critically reflects on the relationship and interaction between people and technology, I began to increasingly deal with politically shaped social issues and the challenges of global coexistence around the world.

Apart from having spent extensive time in emerging and conflict countries in recent years, pursuing a Master's degree in International Conflict and Peace Studies with a focus on media has laid the foundation for my future intentions in this demanding field.

IPS critically analyses the causes and consequences of contemporary conflicts and violent outbreaks that affects human security around the world. It aims at understanding armed conflicts, violent extremism, (de)militarization, economic-, social-, and gender injustices, cultural and religious identity conflicts, and competition over environmental resources, in order to develop more satisfying transformation approaches, peace processes, and peacebuilding practices.
