I had the great honor to be part of the 10th Iranian Film Festival in Zürich 2024 at the Frame Cinema by facilitating some panel discussions with female Iranian film directors, including the talented Hélène Rastegar with whom I had an interesting discussion together with the regional representative of Amnesty International, leading to an inspiring conversation about her personal and creative process behind her first film Shâd Bâsh, which explores the roots of identity, exile, reconciliation, and the power of storytelling.
